Atelier Lumen
A quiet, light-filled studio in Dubai.
Atelier Lumen is a design-led office in Dubai, planned as a working studio rather than a corporate floor. Pale travertine, smoked glass and dark oak are set against soft white walls, with circular light coves and linear slots leading the eye from the arrival lobby to the material library.
Designed and delivered by K4, the plan moves from a client lounge and glass meeting pods to a sample room, a boardroom for material reviews and a quiet open studio, with a coffee bar, pantry and stone washrooms finished to hospitality standard.
Arrival beneath a ring of light.
A curved glass wall, oak columns and a stone reception desk sit under circular light coves, with the K4 mark etched into a frosted glass screen.
A lift lobby that sets the tone.
Travertine walls, a cantilevered stone bench and a sculpted K4 monogram greet visitors from the lifts, under a folded ceiling cut with a single strip of light.

Softer, and made to linger.

Floor-to-ceiling lit shelving holds stone, timber, laminate and fabric samples, with flat-file drawers below and a boardroom next door for reviewing schemes with clients.

A quiet team studio of black-framed bench desks and mesh task chairs under a long linear pendant, with a glass writing wall and a large screen for reviews.

A built-in coffee bar in bronze-toned joinery, with an espresso machine, a boiling-water tap and lit open shelving for cups, glasses and plates.
