The six stages
Design and specification usually takes 4-8 weeks depending on how settled the brief is. Authority approval runs 2-6 weeks in parallel. Procurement of long-lead joinery and stone should start the moment drawings freeze, not after approval, that single sequencing decision saves more time than any other on the programme.
